Becky Carkeek

Sales Manager, Travel Dubuque

Becky Carkeek has led the charge on developing the group-focused campaign, “Travel Dubuque Groupie” which includes a printed guide, additional collateral, advertising, and messaging, elevating Dubuque as a top choice for motorcoach groups. Her innovative approach to group experiences has consistently exceeded expectations, creating memorable and seamless visits. Since taking over the group tours, Dubuque has been featured in Groups Today, earning nominations as an Emerging Destination and a Top CVB—recognition that highlights Carkeek’s dedication to showcasing Dubuque as a group destination.

 

Tyler Duplantis

Destination Sales Manager, Explore Houma

With a bachelor’s degree in public relations, a master’s in marketing and communications, and as a proud tribal citizen of the United Houma Nation, Tyler Duplantis brings a wealth of experience to his role. Passionate about his community and the state of Louisiana, he strives to create authentic, meaningful experiences for every visitor while connecting with people from around the world and learning their unique stories. His accolades include Destinations International’s 30 Under 30 and a Southeast Tourism Society Shining Example Award.

 

Fred Ferguson

President & CEO, American Bus Association, ABA Foundation

Fred Ferguson is President & CEO of the American Bus Association and ABA Foundation, representing the $158 billion group travel industry. He leads ABA Marketplace, the National Bus Traffic Association, and major advocacy efforts. A former Vista Outdoor executive and U.S. House Chief of Staff, he’s managed $3 billion in M&A communications, directed national CSR strategy, and testified before Congress. Ferguson holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University and enjoys family time, mentoring, and golf.

 

Jim Foley

Coordinator, Group and Member Sales, Eastern State

As the Coordinator of Group and Member Sales at Eastern State, a Philadelphia nonprofit dedicated to justice education on the site of the world’s first penitentiary, Jim Foley ensures a memorable experience for every group and member visiting the historic site. Foley believes that strong connections with tour operators and other local attractions, paired with excellent guest relations, are the key to creating lasting relationships and optimal visitor experiences.

 

Mariah Hodapp

Director of Operations, Fly My Group

Mariah Hodapp is the Director of Operations at Fly My Group, where she leads a talented team focused on group air travel logistics and customer experience. Since joining the company in 2016, she has played an integral role in its continued growth. With a passion for collaboration and innovation, Hodapp is committed to driving operational excellence and empowering her team to deliver outstanding service to everyone Fly My Group serves.

 

Maddie McGuire

Sales Associate, Travel With Barb

Maddie McGuire spent six years as a music educator, earning the “Inspire Award” before joining Travel With Barb as a Sales Associate. Now in her second year with TWB, she is dedicated to creating educational, meaningful, and engaging travel experiences for students. She especially enjoys accompanying groups to witness their excitement firsthand. As an active SYTA member and conference attendee, McGuire values continuous learning and being part of a student-centered industry.

 

Darcy Rumpp

Senior Procurement Specialist, EF Explore America

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Darcy Rumpp began working as a tour guide for a student travel company in Florence, Italy. This experience ignited her passion for group travel. To expand her knowledge of the industry, she joined the Operations Team at EF Explore America, where she has successfully built partnerships and strategic initiatives for the past three years. Rumpp’s love for tourism, education, and relationship-building has helped her advocate for the betterment of student travel.

 

Joslyn Schott

Assistant Director of Leisure Group Sales, Explore Branson

In just under two years at Explore Branson, Joslyn Schott has distinguished herself as an emerging leader in the tourism industry. A Missouri State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Leadership, she brings creativity, strategy, and passion to her role. From developing innovative resources to spearheading impactful industry events to expand Branson’s visibility in new markets, Schott’s work reflects her commitment to elevating the destination experience.

 

Tom Vigna

Director of Marketing & Sales, Boston Duck Tours

As Director of Marketing & Sales at Boston Duck Tours, Tom Vigna turns spreadsheets into stories and innovating thinking into customer satisfaction. Equal parts data geek and creative strategist, he’s helped the iconic Boston Duck Tours blend analytics with imagination to move both numbers and people. From championship parades to group travel programs, Vigna’s focus on brand awareness, data, and community keeps Boston’s most famous tour at the forefront of Boston’s tourism scene.

 

Danielle Weigel

Owner & Operator, World Famous Boat Tours

Danielle Weigel is co-owner of a women-owned, family-operated eco tour company that’s all about unforgettable experiences and exceptional service. She loves connecting guests with Florida’s wildlife and coastal ecosystems, partnering with local agencies and city committees to inspire awareness and responsible adventure. Through hands-on tours, education, and community outreach, Weigel helps people of all ages connect with, appreciate, and protect the incredible wildlife around them—and have a little fun along the way.
