2025 Next Gen: Chandler Copyak

Chandler Copyak is one of the 2025 Next Gens, as nominated by Groups Today readers for making a difference in the industry with his fresh, progressive perspective.

Chandler Copyak is a fourth-generation sales professional at Le Bus, a company founded by his great-grandfather 75 years ago.

"Growing up in a family business, I've been surrounded by the group travel industry my entire life," Copyak shared. "I started working with my family's company when I was 16 years old, spending my summers washing buses, and one summer as a mechanic. After high school, I balanced part-time work in the office with my studies at Utah State University. Being part of a company with such deep family roots has given me a strong sense of pride and purpose."

Copyak has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, securing a key contract with a local ski resort to provide employee shuttles—one of his proudest accomplishments so far.

"It felt like a major win for both our company and the resort, and it strengthened my connection to the business my great-grandfather started," Copyak said. "It was rewarding to see how our team's efforts could positively impact another organization."

Copyak also works with all NBA, MLS, NHL and collegiate teams visiting Utah, ensuring their experiences are safe and smooth. He's intrigued the most by the potential for new technologies, like AI, to transform the group travel industry.

"Le Bus has been in business for generations, but there's always room for new ideas, especially with the rise of technology," he said. "I'm currently earning my degree in Data Analytics, and I've already started applying my skills to analyze our company's data, uncovering insights that make our operations more profitable and efficient. Looking ahead, I'm excited about AI's potential to offer instant quotes to customers, creating a more seamless and personalized experience."

Copyak is committed to empowering his team, having trained coworkers in sales and the company's internal technological systems. When looking toward the future, Copyak is passionate about integrating more burgeoning technology.

"I see tremendous potential for AI to transform sales, from personalizing customer interactions to optimizing operations," he said. "My goal is to lead the charge in bringing these innovations to Le Bus while honoring the family legacy that's been built over the past 75 years."
