2025 Next Gen: Case W. Cole
Case W. Cole is one of the 2025 Next Gens, as nominated by Groups Today readers for making a difference in the industry with his fresh, progressive perspective.
Case W. Cole, a Florida State University graduate and second-generation travel professional, specializes in youth markets, and had the unique privilege of growing up within the group travel industry, enjoying the benefits of those travel experiences starting at a very young age.
"As a result, it only seemed natural that I would join our family's organization in the continuation and development of unique travel experiences for student groups," said Cole, who serves as Senior Sales Manager for Super Holiday Tours & Educational Experiences, and Festival Director for Music USA at Universal Orlando Resort. "While working in the travel industry offers plenty of benefits, it's the relationships I've formed with various strategic partners around the country and the world that has been the ultimate, priceless reward."
Actively involved with the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA), Cole serves on multiple committees and plays key roles across his family's travel brands—Super Holiday Tours, Music USA, and Educational Experiences—where he champions transformative experiences for young travelers across a variety of educational initiatives.
Cole finds the most intriguing element of the group travel industry is how technology (specifically artificial intelligence) will have an impact on these travel experiences.
"As the world becomes more connected through technology, the world seems to become a much smaller place," Cole said. "The difficulty of planning a travel experience to an unfamiliar destination will become a distant memory, as leveraging AI will streamline the planning process and execution of that travel experience."
His proudest accomplishment so far has been seeing the growth and development of their team members in the Music USA & Educational Experiences organizations.
"The transition process to acquiring these two organizations was an arduous, year-long process, but our team jumped in head-first, and accepted the challenges brought forth from this acquisition with a determination for success," Cole shared. "Since that acquisition was completed in September 2013, Music USA & Educational Experiences have both shown tremendous growth due to the collaborative efforts shared in developing and supplying quality educational and travel experiences."
Cole is ready to take on whatever the future holds.
"When I joined Super Holiday Tours full time in 2015, I had told my father that I wanted to continue to build upon the legacy that he had set forth over the previous decades," Cole said. "As Super Holiday Tours celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, my goal will always be to continue building upon that legacy, with an aspiration to see Super Holiday Tours stay the course to becoming a century-old company come 2075."
