Sevierville Has Group Appeal!

Sevierville Has Group Appeal!

New attractions and a revitalized historic district are drawing more and more groups to experience the fun of Dolly Parton's hometown, Sevierville, Tennessee.

Historic Downtown Sevierville sits just off the busy Parkway but offers groups a quiet corner of town to take in vibrant art, discover rich history and dine at chef-driven restaurants. Begin with a group photo at the one and only bronze statue of Dolly Parton before encouraging everyone to explore the area's self-guided historic walking tour, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.

Book an evening at SkyLand Ranch, a new mountaintop experience featuring live entertainment, music, food, miniature animals and views. Enjoy a ride on The Wild Stallion (the southeast's longest mountain coaster) then head up the mountain on the Horizon SkyRide or take a shuttle up to the fun. Groups of 15 or more can enjoy special rates, performance and educational opportunities, and meal and entertainment packages. Later this year, the Safari Hayride at SkyLand Ranch begins rolling and will give guests an up-close look at Texas Longhorns, Sika deer, highland cows and more.

From the mountaintop to under the sea, Xperia: Ocean Journey, located at Tanger Outlets Sevierville, takes guests on an immersive and interactive cinematic adventure. With projection and haptic technologies, guests can enjoy a first-hand look at ocean life in new and exciting ways.

The world's largest Buc-ee's, which recently opened in Sevierville, adds an opportunity to take a break, stock up on snacks and shop at the legendary convenience center-turned-attraction. With 120 gas pumps, a soon-to-be-opened 250-foot car wash and all those great Buc-ee's branded items, this is a must see.
A new area surrounding Buc-ee's is currently under construction. Slated for a 2025 opening, Smoky Gap will include resort hotels, shops and restaurants, in addition to a new themed attraction called Cherokee Rose that focuses on the story of the Cherokee people who used their native language to help the Allies win the first world war.

In addition to all the great new things to do, new places for groups to stay are also opening in Sevierville. Whether selecting a large condo or villa, luxury cabin or one of our award-winning hotels, there are plenty of options for groups to stay under one roof or simply side by side. Other options range from RV resorts and glamping tents to elegant treehouses.
