Experience the Best of Southern Traditions, History, American Pride and Fun
We'll toot our own horn in Clarksville, Tennessee, when we have to, but we'd much rather let our customers do the talking and share their own experiences.
Each September, we host the Welcome Home Veterans Celebration: five days of activities that honor America's heroes from all branches of service along with first responders. You might know that the Fort Campbell Army Division, home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), is located here at our city border. So, patriotism and American pride run wide and deep in our community and have for a long time.
Dozens of groups and military reunions build trips around this event. Of course, we still work in plenty of traditional Southern experiences like biscuit baking at a historic venue, cocktail making at the distillery, stepping into the past on a rural historic pioneer settlement, antique and boutique shopping amid the backdrop of stunning historic architecture, or drives that showcase Clarksville's spectacular natural beauty.
Bill Ramsey, president of the 101st Airborne Division Vietnam Veterans Organization, shared his group's experience after organizing a reunion during the Celebration.
"The city and all of the citizens we came in contact with rolled out the red carpet for us and our group was most pleased," said Ramsey. "We felt like honored guests—a promise made by Frances became a promise kept by Frances. We are grateful to her and the city for such a wonderful and memorable reunion."
What a compliment! What an experience!
You know the best part?
It's not the exception—it's the standard. We pride ourselves on creating a customized and memorable experience for each group that visits.
We can't wait to do that for you.
