Dolly Parton Announces Opening Details for New Dollywood Resort

Dolly Parton Announces Opening Details for New Dollywood Resort

Dolly Parton recently announced a booking update for her highly anticipated second resort, Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort, tucked away in a beautiful cove in the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Parton shared that visitors who are interested in staying at the 302-room hotel will be able to begin booking rooms in June 2023 for stays starting in November. Group bookings are available now for meetings and events that will take place in 2024 and beyond.

HeartSong Lodge & Resort will bring its location to life indoors through the hotel's custom décor, including a 4,000-square-foot, four-story atrium lobby with lantern-inspired windows; a show-stopping four-story stone fireplace; and guest room and hospitality room options that are themed to the Smokies' flora and fauna, including the region's iconic black bears and fireflies. Several guest rooms also feature balconies with enchanting foothill views of one of America's most popular national parks, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is located only 10 miles from the resort.

The lodge will feature 26,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, including its 7,500-square-foot HeartSong Ballroom, the 3,200-square-foot Inspiration Ballroom, a 10-seat boardroom, and ample pre-function space with plenty of window views that highlight its incredible setting. A spacious outdoor event lawn will be available rain or shine, thanks to tent availability.

Meeting planners will be able to select from the resort's banquet menu featuring Southern-inspired dishes, or groups can use the resort's public dining options, which include a 195-seat signature restaurant and lounge, the 40-seat Acoustics private dining room, and grab-and-go dining at Songbird Market.

Hosting a meeting at HeartSong Lodge & Resort means one-of-a-kind team-building opportunities, too. Groups can head to the award-winning theme park and water park, or book one of Parton's famed dinner shows, or work with Pink Adventure Tours to get participants out into the region in a colorful Jeep.

Dollywood's resort expansion isn't the only exciting news on tap for 2023. Parton also announced that the park's newest roller coaster, Big Bear Mountain, will open in May. At $25 million, the ride is the largest single attraction investment ever at Dollywood, while its nearly 4,000-foot length will make it the longest roller coaster at the park as well.
