Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: Ultimate Nashville

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is the home of one of America's most popular art forms. Visitors become entrenched in the fascinating and longstanding musical genre that is country music as they follow its evolution from its earliest folk roots, though minstrel and medicine shows and up to its recent noteworthy rise in popularity.

Groups will learn about the famous country sound through displayed artifacts, rare video footage, sound recordings and audio tours.

The stories of legends such as Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire will be shared, as will artifacts of contemporary artists Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and others.

Aspiring performers could become "Certified Country" at the museum's interactive stations, which include recording and songwriting areas and music trivia booths. They could even climb through a 40-foot guitar!

Members of The Country Music Hall of Fame are recognized in the museum's 5,300-square-foot Rotunda room. In this space, visitors can appreciate country music's deep roots and legendary performers.

History buffs will enjoy a guided tour of Hatch Show Print, located in the museum's lobby. This letterpress' posters served as a leading advertising medium for southern entertainment. Hatch Show Print's tour teaches visitors about its history and the process of letterpress printing. As an added bonus, visitors can even print their own commemorative poster. Tour operators can call the museum to schedule private tours for groups of 15 or more.

If your tour participants are interested in Nashville-style songwriting or the stories behind country music's classics, look no further. The museum offers hour-long sessions covering both topics, as well as many other unique learning experiences.
