Chicago Air Traffic Control Fire Cost: $123 Million So Far

The U.S. Travel Association estimates that the nearly 3,900 flight cancelations in the four days following a fire at an air traffic control facility in the Chicago area cost nearly $123 million in passengers' lost economic activity during that same time.

NTA in NOLA: It’s All About the New

NTA is focused on New Orleans' first name as the association prepares for Travel Exchange, January 18 – 22, 2015.

"We're bringing a lot of 'new' to New Orleans," said Pam Inman, who became NTA's new president September 1. "We've listened to what members asked for, and because we'll be in the Big Easy, we want to give them the easiest and most successful ways to do business with their peers."

Mexico, California to Co-Promote Tourism

The Secretariat of Tourism of the United Mexican States (SECTUR) and the Government of California of the United States of America have signed a memorandum of understanding, aimed at developing and strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector between Mexico and California.
