What's New in Branson?

Planning to visit Branson, Missouri, with your group in 2017? There's always something exciting happening in this Ozark Mountain town. Make sure these exciting new attractions, shows and festivals are on your radar.

ATTRACTIONS

Big Foot on the Strip
If you have thrill-seekers in your group, Big Foot on the Strip is for them. The massive tower features three activities: a 200-foot freefall tower, saddle swing ride and a 360-degree observation deck. No matter the ride, your travelers will get breathtaking views of the Branson strip and surrounding scenery. After the adventure, refuel at Branson's only collection of food trucks.

The History of Fishing Museum
Outdoor lovers will rejoice! The History of Fishing Museum houses the largest collection of antique fishing lures, rods, reels, boats and motors. What's even more impressive? All 40,000-plus pieces were collected by one man and his wife.

Gary Player Course
Add some tee time to your group's itinerary. Johnny Morris, owner of Big Cedar Lodge and Bass Pro Shops, continues his mission to make Branson a renowned golf retreat by working with golf icon Gary Player. The new world-class short course winds through the Ozark landscape, creating a unique—and challenging—golf experience.

SHOWS

Country on the Lake
Beginning in May, a live band and talented singers will take guests on a journey through yesterday's classic rock hits to today's country favorites on the Showboat Branson Belle. The show, Country on the Lake, will be performed during the noon cruise only.

Dreams: A Classic Rock Fantasy
Featuring favorites from Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger and more, this show will make your group members feel like they're in a classic rock fantasy brought to life.

FESTIVALS

Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City's Festival of Wonder, April 6 – 30, will feature amazing acts of curiosity and larger-than-life performances, as well as delicious new foods. During Moonlight Madness, July 15 – 30, groups could tackle extreme food challenges, such as devouring a 20-inch Goliath pizza and a two-pound hamburger.

CAF Airpower History Tour
Set for September 14 – 17 at the Branson Airport, the CAF Airpower History Tour will focus on WWII aviation. The B-29/B-24 Squadron of Commemorative Air Force is bringing aircrafts, pilots and crews from over 70 CAF units to the city. Groups could find the B-29 FIFI, one of the rarest WWII bombers.
