Lecture Series at Michigan's Gilmore Car Museum

The Gilmore Car Museum lecture series "On the Road to History" incorporates fascinating stories and little-known facts about its topics. The eleven-week series is open to the public and covers a variety of subjects.

"We have brought together a fine group of historians, scholars, and authors—all experts in their respective fields," explained Fred Colgren, Education Director at Gilmore Car Museum. "From the Civil War and old-time radio dramas to shipwrecks of Lake Michigan, there's certain to be something of interest for everyone."

The Sunday afternoon presentations begin at 3 p.m. and are $5 each per person, or free to museum members or with the purchase of regular museum admission. The lectures are appropriate for all ages and guests are encouraged to attend those that interest them the most. No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
