Illuminate the Holidays With Joy in Norfolk

The holidays have come alive in Norfolk! Groups can take a snowflake-filled stroll under a million light bulbs—literally, enjoy dinner around a cozy tabletop firepit and shop until they drop, to name a few of the 2018 holiday season's delights.

The largest botanical garden in Virgina—Norfolk Botanical Garden—welcomes groups to get lost in the seasonal magic that's been meticulously displayed all around them. The good news for groups is that there are plenty of chances to visit, and we know that no holiday season is complete without the twinkling of lights strung about!

Million Bulb Walk | 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. nightly through December 15
Ever wonder what it's like to see a million bulbs lit all in celebration of the most wonderful time of the year? Now groups have the chance! The Million Bulb Walk is over a mile of lights displayed in various ways that will leave groups feeling the winter spirit; whether they're strung up in trees, glimmering throughout familiar holiday-themed scenes or used to bring a favorite character to life. The path is stroller and wheelchair accessible so groups of all kinds can join in.

Garden of Lights | 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. nighty, December 16 – December 31
Voted as one of the top light displays in the country by USA Today in 2014, Garden of Lights should be top on your group's holiday bucket list. Take a magical holiday drive through the garden, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland that brings all four seasons to life through gorgeous lights. Groups also can stop by the Merrygold & Honey truck to complete the experience with hot cocoa, kettle corn and more.

Groups can take in a spectaular views while cozied up around a larger than life tabletop firepit at Grain, Norfolk's only rooftop beer garden. Groups may even catch a Christmas tune here and there during their live music performances on Wednesday evenings.
