Endless Fun at Santa Monica’s Pacific Park

Endless Fun at Santa Monica’s Pacific Park

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is one of Southern California's top destinations for camps, travel and school groups.

Located on the iconic Santa Monica Pier, Pacific Park is the West Coast's only amusement park located on a pier and is home to the world's first and only solar-powered Ferris wheel: the Pacific Wheel. You probably recognize it from TV or online—it's been filmed in hundreds of movies, TV shows, and commercials and is the No. 1 most Instagrammed spot in Los Angeles.

Why Pacific Park?
The Park's iconic location and compact size of just two acres make it a desirable and safe visit for any travel, school, camp, or youth group. The Park has 12 rides, 14 midway games, and over-the-ocean food and retail outlets. Pacific Park offers group rates for parties of 12 or more people and groups receive discounted prices on unlimited ride wristbands, meal cards, game play, and more. The Park also offers a flexible payment plan for groups, so no need to stress about your final headcount or order until your day of visit.

Day-of-Visit Tips
Pacific Park is open 365 days a year, but operating hours vary, so be sure to confirm each day's operating hours prior to visiting.

Although Los Angeles' West Side is notorious for traffic, there are plenty of ways to get to Pacific Park. The Metro Expo Line drops you off just blocks from the beach and the Pier is also accessible by all major bus services. If arriving by bus, Lot 1 North, which is right next to the Pier, boasts over 1,000 parking spots and can easily accommodate large buses.

The Park offers many dining options for groups including seated pizza parties in the Seaside Pavilion and treat cards good for popcorn and cotton candy throughout the Park.

Come prepared to have fun! In addition to rides at the amusement park, groups can check out Heal the Bay's Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, look for seals and dolphins at the west-end viewing deck, or swim in the Pacific along Santa Monica's world-famous beaches.

How to Book
Booking a group at Pacific Park is simple. Either fill out the request form or email [email protected] with your group name, desired date of visit, and approximate headcount, and someone from the group sales department will follow up shortly with your reservation confirmation. The Park doesn't require a deposit or payment until the day of visit and group leaders do not need to confirm final numbers until the day of their visit.
