Shop ‘Til You Drop at These Exciting Shopping Districts

Exciting shopping districts and streets for groups who are looking for some retail therapy.

Sometimes, you just need a little retail therapy. According to research from American Express, 83% of travelers want to shop at small businesses when they travel to a new location. Whether your groups are looking to bring home a few souvenirs or are content with simply window shopping, these shopping districts and streets deliver in a big way.

RODEO DRIVE, BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA
You can't think of luxury shopping without thinking of the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. With luxury stores like Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Chanel, Moncler, Prada, Rolex and Ralph Lauren, groups will have a ball perusing the many architect-designed boutiques, all situated within walking distance of each other over a three-block span. Dining experiences on Rodeo Drive also abound, including spots serving up world-class fare from Michelin-starred chefs. And if you visit around the holidays, you may even encounter some carolers!

THE MAGNIFICENT MILE, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
More than 450 retailers could be found along the Windy City's Magnificent Mile, from major department stores to international boutiques. There's even a luxury pet boutique (Tails in the City) for the most discerning furry companions. Located in Chicago's bustling downtown, the 13-block Magnificent Mile district stretches down North Michigan Avenue, right near the scenic Lake Michigan shoreline. The district also boats 275 restaurants and 60 hotels, so it's safe to say you'll never go hungry or have a hard time finding a place to lay your head.

FRESHFIELDS VILLAGE, KIAWAH ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA
For high style in the lowcountry, head to Kiawah Island's Freshfields Village, an open-air shopping and dining district ideal for those looking for a laid-back and coastal setting. Located approximately 20 miles from downtown Charleston, Freshfields Village is home to a number of establishments that fit the vibe: vineyard vines, lululemon, Las Olas, Lilly Pulitzer, Indigo Books, Islands Mercantile—just to name a few. After a long day of shopping, swing by Urban Nirvana Spa or grab a margarita at Cantina 76.

THE DISTILLERY DISTRICT, TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA
Once home to the famous Gooderham and Worts Distillery, Toronto's Distillery District dates all the way back to 1832 and has much to offer visiting groups today, including galleries, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, distilleries and craft breweries. Gallery Indigena boasts artwork and crafts by First Nations, Inuit and Métis artists, while the annual Toronto Christmas Market fills the district with Old World charm. If cobblestone streets and restored Victorian industrial architecture sound good to you, the Distillery District is just the ticket.
