Fall Is Festival Time

It's no secret that fall is a popular time to get out and explore nature.

But did you know that across the country, there are a variety of festivals that offer something for everyone to enjoy?

Yes, everyone. Learn what fun festivals groups can attend in fall 2018.

 

Austin City Limits Music Festival | Austin, Texas | October 5 – 7, 12 – 14
One of the country's largest celebrations of music, this six-day festival brings the magic of the famed public TV series Austin City Limits outside the studio and into Austin's most beloved park with more than 140 musical acts on eight stages over two weekends.

Maryland Seafood Festival | Annapolis, Maryland | September 8 – 9
Let the flavors of the Chesapeake Bay tingle your taste buds during a weekend full of delicious seafood dishes, interactive cooking demonstrations, exciting competitions, kids' activities and more. Groups can come prepared to identify their favorite crab soup during the 51st annual event's ever-popular crab soup cookoff. A host of local craft beers and wines will help ensure you end up with perfect pairings—all on the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay!

Detroit Fall Beer Festival | Detroit, Michigan | October 26 – 27
Join the Michigan Brewers Guild at Detroit's Eastern Market for one of the largest all-Michigan beer tastings. Attendees can enjoy incredible food from Detroit area restaurants and listen to a talented lineup of local musicians, while sipping any of more than 800 craft beers from nearly 120 Michigan breweries.

Northwest Chocolate Festival | Seattle, Washington | October 3 – 5
The Northwest Chocolate Festival is a little slice of heaven for chocolate lovers! You can sample chocolates from all over the world and learn great new recipes from experts, just blocks from Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle.

Baltimore Book Festival | Baltimore, Maryland | September 28 – 30
The Baltimore Book Festival features appearances by locally and nationally known authors, book signings, more than 100 exhibitors and booksellers, and nonstop readings on multiple stages. Groups can also enjoy cooking demos by top chefs, poetry readings, workshops, panel discussions, storytellers and hands-on projects for kids, along with live music.

New Orleans Film Festival | New Orleans, Louisiana | October 17 – 25
Born in a city known for its eclectic and artistic vibrancy, the New Orleans Film Festival has sought out bold and passionate storytellers since 1989. Groups can enjoy a unique camaraderie in a city that has an international reputation for knowing how to have a good time!

Banger's Oktoberfest | Austin, Texas | October 18 – 20
This is one of the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations in Austin, spanning three days (and nights). Eat, drink, dance and play to your heart's desire at this all-out party on Rainey Street.
