Palace Resorts: A Grand Transformation

Palace Resorts' The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun is undergoing a $450 million transformation, which will elevate the resort to the highest possible luxury standards—offering lavish and spacious accommodations, exclusive access to premier dining establishments, close proximity to the property's most astounding attractions and more.

Upon completion in February 2017, The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun, within Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, will offer more than 1,300 guest rooms. More than 80,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space will provide The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun guests with multiple meeting rooms, ballrooms, exhibition areas, outdoor spaces and a theater with room for nearly 1,000 visitors—all with the industry's most innovate technology and audiovisual equipment.

The property will also offer a variety of attractions and diversions. A new six-lane bowling alley will feature a bar and lounge with an ultramodern sound system and vivid lighting. Additionally, the resort will boast nine outdoor swimming pools, five swim-up bars, an elaborate beach club, a gymnasium, a chic nightclub and more. Also on site will be The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun's new 76,875-square-foot Awe-Spa®, which will feature more than 60 spa suites, a hydrotherapy circuit, plunge pools, and steam and sauna rooms.

The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun will offer 17 food and beverage outlets with eight new dining attractions, incorporating a variety of flavors including gourmet Asian, Italian, Caribbean, French, Lebanese and authentic Mexican. Additionally, the resort will offer 24-hour room service to valued guests seeking anything from a late-night snack to a full-course meal.

"The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun will offer an unprecedented collection of curated experiences that appeal to a variety of unique markets," said Sandor Winkler, Chief Development Officer for Palace Resorts.
