Great News for Parrot Heads!

The first renderings of Margaritaville Resort Orlando were recently revealed, giving travelers from around the world a sneak-peek of a one-of-a-kind vacation escape in the heart of Orlando. Construction is underway on the $750M destination resort along U.S. Highway 192 near Toll Road 429 in Western Osceola County. The company's sales center will soon open, with the first phase of the project expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

As shown in a new master rendering, the expansive waterfront destination resort will be an exciting addition to Central Florida's thriving attraction and tourism scene. Margaritaville Resort Orlando will feature a 175-room Margaritaville hotel, 1,000 Margaritaville-themed vacation homes, 300 timeshare units, 30,000 square-feet of function space, 200,000 square feet of festive retail space, a dining and entertainment district, 12-acre water park, wellness center, miles of wooded fitness trails and a water taxi system.

One of Margaritaville Resort Orlando's unique features will be a three-acre swimmable freshwater lagoon. The lagoon features natural sand beaches, the first and only in Central Florida, surrounded by cabanas and water activities, including paddle-boarding, snorkeling and more.

The Margaritaville brand is inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of singer, songwriter and author, Jimmy Buffett, whose songs evoke a passion for tropical escape and relaxation. Comprising consumer products, restaurants, retail shops, hotels, resorts and Radio Margaritaville on Sirius/XM, Margaritaville delivers a tropical experience where anyone can enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of their favorite destination regardless of their current latitude.

Since launching its first restaurant location in Key West, Florida in 1987, Margaritaville has expanded to some of the most popular U.S. destinations including Orlando and Las Vegas. Margaritaville resorts and hotels can be found in Pensacola Beach, Florida; Bossier City, Louisiana; and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with a AAA Four-Diamond oceanfront resort in Hollywood Beach, Florida.
