Fun and Fashionable Columbus Getaway

See for yourself why Columbus, Ohio, is emerging as a fashion hub. Easton, dubbed the "Rodeo Drive of the Midwest" by USA Today, offers an experience that is traditional, but far from ordinary. To this day, Easton serves as the blueprint for the modern shopping center, thanks to the brilliant minds behind it—including Les Wexner, founder of L Brands (Victoria's Secret, PINK, Henri Bendel, Bath & Body Works and La Senza).

Easton has a plethora of parking options and accommodates hundreds of motorcoach groups every year. The "What's in Fashion" experience takes groups to Nordstrom to enjoy a full, hot breakfast at the Café Bistro, where Nordstrom experts share the latest looks for men and women in apparel, accessories and shoes—then sets them free to shop on their own. Group members receive a gift card to shop and free alterations on same-day purchases at Nordstrom. Afterward, a variety of dining options await: Brio Tuscan Grille, Northstar Café, Cameron Mitchell's Ocean Club, Coopers Hawk Winery and more.

It's easy for a tour group to spend an entire day in Easton, or mix and match with other available options from the destination. Just a few miles southeast of Easton, you will find Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, where groups can enjoy the beauty of the natural world no matter the weather or time of year. This is the only botanical garden in the world with a permanent collection of glass artwork by Dale Chihuly, placed within the plant collections under natural light. Adopt a butterfly, then release it into the Pacific Island Water Garden to watch it take its first flight, anytime March – September. Or, visit during Merry & Bright for a spectacular display of poinsettias complementing twinkling lights, gingerbread house competitions and seasonal foliage.
