Oceanside CA deserves consideration for this award. The city has over 160,000 residents, but still has that small town feel and appeal. Excellent beaches, recreation and sporting fields

There are so many reasons why Oceanside should be considered as an emerging destination. While we remain an authentic beach community with ties to our historic roots, we also have a newly revitalized downtown with award winning craft breweries and creative chefs designing tasty menus around locally sourced food from neighborhood farms.

Oceanside maybe over 125 years old, but it is an up and coming destination. Along the North Shore of San Diego County Oceanside offers all water opportunities and Historic assets like the Mission San Luis Rey, the King of the Missions.
Placed between all of California's major attractions it is an easy drive to all of them. Three miles of the Southern Californian coast at affordable prices, doesn't get better than that.

When I first started promoting Broadway to the international travel market, I was tagging along with my bosses to places such as London and Berlin. For the most part these were pretty "easy" markets to work with--there was not typically a language barrier, the people were familiar with the products, and I had seasoned professionals with decades of international travel experience to guide me.
