Just a Gay Dutch guy that loves GR! My husband & I find the people warm and accepting...nev er understood why it has a conservative reputation. Democrats always carry the town in Presidential elections...jus t a cool place to live!

Came to Grand Rapids in 1969, raised a family, co-founded a Montessori school, retired from work and am still here. Love GR.

Not a better place to be or visit than Grand Rapids MI. Culture, music, arts, and Lake Michigan just a half hour away. We have our own "ocean" without sharks
