Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center Makes 'Kiss-Story'

This year, Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center and 448 couples made "kiss-story" when they broke the Guinness World Records title for a timeless holiday tradition: most couples kissing under mistletoe in one location.

Under the watchful eyes of Guinness World Records adjudicator Michael Empric, hundreds of couples puckered up for 10 seconds beneath individual sprigs of mistletoe. With 448 couples successfully breaking the title, Gaylord Palms more than doubled the previous record of 215 couples.

Kiss-Story in the Making, sponsored by Experience Kissimmee and in partnership with Mentos, added extra holiday cheer to Christmas at Gaylord Palms, which runs through January 7, 2018. The resort's annual celebration has welcomed guests from around the world for 15 years and includes themed attractions, live entertainment and more than 2 million dazzling lights.

"There's no better place to set a kissing Guinness World Records title than right here in Kissimmee, Florida," said DT Minich, President and CEO of Experience Kissimmee.
